Danny Klappe has over 15 years of solid HR experience in the financial industry. Within ING, he held several positions as country head of HR for the Czech republic and Slovakia , global specialist for HR Mergers & Acquisitions and regional head of HR Wholesale Banking Central & Eastern Europe. At global level he was responsible for the design and implementation of the award-winning Orange Code, a global set of behaviours for all 53.000 ING employees. This set of global behaviours was incorporated into performance management, making all employees worldwide accountable not only for what they do, but also how they do it. At this moment, Danny is designing and implementing a new global performance management framework for ING worldwide. Danny is based in Amsterdam, and has previously worked and lived in Bangladesh and the Czech republic. Prior to ING, Danny worked for various companies as a business consultant.
